Valentino Grizutti, Agustín Gagliardi, and Guido Losantos have been awarded the 2026 Ibsen
Scope Grant for their innovative project Ghosts Dissection.
Ghosts Dissection is a theatrical intervention designed for anatomical theatres and dissection
halls. The project offers a contemporary reinterpretation of Henrik Ibsen’s Ghosts as a starting
point for a collective conversation on mental health and its social dimension, revisiting and
updating some of the questions posed by naturalism as a literary and scientific movement.
The theatre group—based in Buenos Aires—explores how austerity and social tensions shape
everyday life in contemporary Argentina. Their artistic and conceptual approach was praised
by the jury for its depth and originality.

The Ibsen Scope Grants are biennial awards that support theatre and performing arts projects
engaging critically with Ibsen’s work, fostering new reflections on existential and social
themes.
The Argentine artists presented their work at the Ibsen Festival in Skien, held on 7–8 May
2026, where they shared the stage with creators from various countries.
This recognition strengthens the presence of Argentine creativity in international cultural
circuits and celebrates the artistic exchange between Argentina and Norway.
