On September 5, 2024, Their Royal Highnesses, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, hosted the Ambassador of the Republic, Mr. Carlos Alberto Giacomino, and his wife, Mrs. Lía Marisa Rendón, at the summer palace, Oscarshall. During the meeting, diplomatic ties were reaffirmed, and the cooperation between both countries and the diplomatic corps in Norway was highlighted.
