MERCOSUR (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay) and EFTA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland) concluded yesterday in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the negotiations of the Free Trade Agreement that will improve market access for more than 97% of common exports.

Norway was represented by the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Vegard Grøslie Wennesland. On behalf of Iceland, the Director General for Economic and Trade Affairs of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Ragnar Kristjánsson, participated.
