The Secretary of Transportation of the Nation, Franco Mogetta, and the Director for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland, Pétur Thorsteinsson, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Air Services between Argentina and Iceland.

The Argentine government promotes the signing of these instruments that enhance air connectivity and increase passenger traffic, highlighting the strategic position of Iceland in air transportation. For his part, Director Thorsteinsson stated that the instrument will benefit tourism and passenger travel.
