The book "Døden er å bli glemt" by Argentine author Felipe Celesia is now available in Norwegian, published by Camino Forlag with the support of the ProgramaSur of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team is the first scientific, private, non-profit organization to apply forensic sciences to the investigation and clarification of mass crimes in Argentina and around the world. The team restores the identity of victims, provides evidence in courts, and helps families recover the remains of their loved ones.
In 35 years, the team has worked in 55 countries and has identified more than 800 disappeared persons in Argentina alone. Felipe Celesia narrates the monumental work of this team, which is regarded as a global reference and, for many, the guardian of our memory.
Felipe Celesia will present an introduction to the documentary film "The Memory of the Bones", which will be screened on Wednesday, February 12th at 18:00 at the Deichman Bjørvika library.
