The Argentine Embassy in Norway celebrated Argentina’s National Day with two complementary activities: an official reception for the diplomatic corps, local authorities, and representatives of the business sector, and a gathering with the Argentine community residing in the country. Both events reflect the significance of May 25 as a key date for strengthening ties, promoting Argentina’s international image, and supporting our citizens abroad.

Official Reception with the Diplomatic Corps and Sector Representatives

The commemoration of the National Day is not only a historical act but also an opportunity to reinforce Argentina’s presence abroad, strengthen relevant contacts, promote exports, and support Argentine SMEs operating internationally.

At the Argentine Residence, the Embassy welcomed diplomats accredited in Norway, local authorities, business leaders, organization directors, and private-sector representatives, who shared a space for dialogue and institutional engagement.

Gathering with the Argentine Community in Norway

The Embassy also celebrated May 25 with the Argentine community and their families, in an open event that reaffirms the bond between the diaspora and the country.

The invitation was extended to all Argentines residing within the jurisdiction.

Our communities abroad are one of the main assets of Argentina’s foreign policy: they promote the country’s image, support our exports, and in many cases open doors and collaborate with official diplomacy. For this reason, the community gathering is a central moment of the year—a space to share identity, culture, and belonging.
