The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the Kingdom of Norway, Claudio Giacomino, held an extensive working meeting with Aslaug Nygård, Director for Latin America, and Kaja Sannerud Andersen, Head of the Republic’s Affairs, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the following key areas of the shared agenda:

• Geopolitical convergences between both countries
• Cooperation in the field of defence
• The shared commitment to the Safe Schools initiative
• The excellent relations between our peoples
• The opportunities that will arise for trade and investment following the ratification of the EFTA–MERCOSUR Agreement

The meeting represented a fruitful review of the main issues that strengthen the bilateral relationship and project new horizons for collaboration between Argentina and Norway.
