The delegation of Argentine scientists who traveled to Oslo to participate in the SCAR Open Science Conference (OSC), organized by the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR), was received by the Argentine Embassy in the Kingdom of Norway.

During the conference, the researchers presented work across all areas of Antarctic research: Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical and Chemical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Education, reaffirming Argentina’s presence at the world’s most relevant event dedicated to Antarctic science.

The conference, hosted by Norway, was an excellent opportunity for scientists to share progress on polar research projects, strengthen ties with colleagues from different countries, and highlight the role of Argentine science in international Antarctic cooperation.
