We visited the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), where we met Dr. Jorge Marchetti, argentine Professor at the University and leader of the Reaction Engineering and Catalysis Group.

The  group is working on the area of waste based biorefinery, biochemical productions from different biomasses, biofuels production from 2nd and 3rd generation raw materials as well as mathematical modeling, kinetics modeling and techno economy assessment of upscaling technologies.

We also visited part of the laboratories of NMBU. The aim of the visit was to learn a bit more about the market in Norway, existing research and cooperation projects in the field, among other things. We thank Dr. Marchetti for receiving us.
